At Pace Tuition, we don’t just follow a curriculum; we focus on your child. Our unique approach is built on the philosophy that educational success comes from teaching a student the way they learn, not forcing them to learn the way we teach.
FREE Assessment
The Pace Tuition journey begins with a complimentary, comprehensive initial step that is tailored to your child’s specific educational stage. For Primary to S3 students, this initial contact takes the form of a Learning Assessment—a hands-on diagnostic review designed to pinpoint core strengths and areas requiring focused support in foundational literacy and numeracy skills. For Secondary students in S4-S6, the process shifts to a Deep Diagnostic Consultation, which is an in-depth review focused on SQA requirements, exam technique, and identifying precise curriculum gaps relevant to their National 5, Higher, or Advanced Higher subject pathway.
We use advanced tools to generate a real-time diagnostic report that precisely maps the student’s current proficiency across multiple individual skills. This targets specific micro-gaps that traditional assessments often miss.
Working At: Pinpoints the exact Curriculum for Excellence (CfE) level the student is currently working at, giving parents a clear benchmark.
Ready to Learn: Highlights the most essential, specific skills the student needs to master next to make the fastest progress toward their next CfE level.
We use this data to ensure our focus is always aligned with school work and the official Scottish curriculum.
Once we have a plan, our teachers commit to delivering truly individualised learning.
This is the core of our teaching commitment: "If the child doesn't learn the way we teach, we will teach the way they learn." Our educators are adept at modifying resources and session structures to match the student's cognitive needs perfectly.
We have a wealth of experience working with neurodivergent children (including those with Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, ADHD, and ASC). We use a specialised multi-sensory strategies, sensory adjustments, and structured routines to ensure concepts are accessible.
We foster a low-pressure, supportive learning environment where students feel safe to ask questions, make mistakes, and build the confidence essential for long-term success.
S4 to S6 Exam Strategy
For students facing high-stakes SQA exams (National 5, Higher, Advanced Higher), we offer a dedicated, strategy-focused FREE Consultation. This session is led by our fully qualified Secondary English and Maths teachers, all GTC registered and holding PVG Enhanced Scheme membership covering Children.
We discuss subject needs, current SQA targets, revision timetables, and past paper performance with the student and parents.
We collaboratively design a focused plan to address the most critical areas needed to maximize their final SQA grades, ensuring efficient and high-impact study.
